I've discussed in the past how I strive to track boolean values.
One useful metric that I've begun to track lately is "time to first result". It's basically an indication of how much time it takes for a new customer to experience the first result from our tool.
Obviously, the "result" part varies and it depends on the tool.
For example, for Treendly it can be the time it takes for a new customer to save a relevant trend. For Groouply, it can be the time that it takes for the tool to send the client the first notification.
Ideally, the shorter this time is, the better. I want to make a good impression on a new customer as soon as possible.
